EVA Team: From Setback to Comeback – A Pivotal Offseason

After a very tough first split in the EVA League 1, BKROG didn’t fall apart they regrouped. The team has entered a full-scale preparation phase, determined to be ready when the new season kicks off in early September.

The end of the split left a bitter taste. The ambitions were real, the expectations high, but the results didn’t follow. Players walked away disappointed, some questioning their performance, others the group’s cohesion. But rather than give up, the team chose to fight back. The offseason became an opportunity to reset, rebuild, and rise.

"We could have given up, but every single player made the opposite choice: to work harder," says Jazconan, head coach and manager of the team. "Right after the split ended, we rolled out a structured program built on two key pillars: physical conditioning and strategic preparation. I won’t go into all the details, but let’s just say everyone had to push beyond their comfort zone. The goal is simple : — be ready from day one. There’s no room for delay."

Since then, the squad has been locked in from enhanced training routines to deep tactical reviews. BKROG is not just rebuilding; it's transforming into a stronger, more united group with a single, burning objective: to prove their worth.

Throughout it all, the club’s support never wavered. Matthieu Laneau, co-founder of BKROG and directly in charge of the team, remains optimistic despite the disappointing start:

"Yes, the results weren’t what we hoped for this first split was disappointing. But I’ve never lost faith in this team. They have the potential to become one of the standout teams in EVA League 1. The club believes in this project and continues to back it fully."

This clear message of trust isn’t just for the players it’s for the fans and community that stood by BKROG through the rough start.

Today, less than two months from the season opener, the mindset has changed. Doubt has been replaced with grit, hunger, and renewed motivation. BKROG tasted defeat and chose to feed off it.

The upcoming season is a defining one. And if there’s one thing we can promise, it’s that BKROG isn’t coming back to blend in they’re coming back to make a statement.
